On the initiative of 5 French universities, including the University of Toulouse, this project also brings together competitiveness clusters, industrial federations, and the French Chemical Society, all of which wish to invest in green, innovative, and sustainable chemistry for a carbon-free and circular economy. Organised around 3 axes (Attract – Train – Support), its aim is to attract more students to the subject, raise awareness among society, schools, and businesses, and train students in green chemistry, as well as employees throughout their careers.
Co-leader of the IDeAS team at Softmat, Nancy is also head of the green chemistry master’s program at the University of Toulouse and co-leader of the “Attract” axis of the project.
The project Chimie Verte Academy is funded for 5 years as part of France 2030 by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
A video recording of the launch ceremony held on December 3, 2024, is available online. At 44 minutes, you can learn more about the “Attract” axis, co-led by Nancy.
