The laboratory of Chemistry of colloids, polymers & complex assemblies is dedicated to research into the chemistry of soft matter. It focuses on organised systems made up of surfactants, polymers, biomolecules or nanoparticles.
Thanks to our expertise in organic and polymer synthesis, as well as in formulation chemistry, we design new smart molecular or polymer architectures. Our skills in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry and photochemistry also enables us to accurately assess the structure/properties relationship of these architectures.
The systems we study have a wide range of applications in life sciences, materials sciences, green chemistry, environmental sciences, etc.
This research is the subject of frequent collaborations with academic or industrial partners, and thus helps to meet the scientific and societal challenges of our time.
