INP INNOV’ 2019 prize awarded to Florence Benoit-Marquié, faculty staff at Softmat

On 13th of June, at the INP INNOV’ 2019 awards ceremony, Florence Benoit-Marquié, who carries out her research in the IDeAS team at the Softmat laboratory, was awarded the “Lauriers de l’INP” prize, along with her colleagues, for her patent application entitled “Process for eliminating ethylene by irradiation in the far UV”.

This work was carried out by scientists from the INP, CNRS, Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University and Absoger company, as part of the “INNO’POM” project, financed by the “Fonds Unique Interministériel”. The aim of this research project is to develop a range of apples of superior sanitary quality, with no phytosanitary residues.
